In Matthew 17, the disciples ask Jesus why they couldn’t drive out a demon. He tells them that if they have faith as small as a mustard seed, they could tell a mountain to move and it would, and nothing would be impossible for them. Elsewhere He describes that tiny seed growing into a tree big enough for birds to rest in its branches. It doesn’t take great faith. It takes real faith in a great God.
