Around 700 years before the cross, Isaiah described a suffering servant who would be wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. Then on the day Jesus was crucified, soldiers twisted thorns into a crown and pressed it onto His head. Every wound He carried was meant for us, and the verse finishes with the good news: by His stripes we are healed.
The front carries the charge: GO WITH GOD. The back shows a hand-drawn crown of thorns, raw and textured, with Isaiah 53:5 printed beneath. It’s a heavy image with a hopeful message: the price was paid, so you can walk free.
